#Duties & Responsibilities :

• Crafting annual, monthly, and quarterly sales plans for both individual and corporate clients. • Collaborating with the core team to achieve ambitious sales targets. • Compiling crucial data from potential clients and the market, meticulously maintaining records. • Coordinating and conducting meetings with corporate clients, ensuring effective follow-up. • Collaborating closely with the local and foreign technical teams throughout the quotation process until insurance cover confirmations are secured. • Nurturing existing client relationships, efficiently managing portfolios and handling claims on behalf of clients. • Taking the lead in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team, motivating them to surpass targets.

Job Requirements

• A degree or an equivalent qualification (SLII/CII, SLIM or CIM) in Insurance is a must.

• MBA or a management related post graduate qualification shall be an added advantage.

• A minimum of 04 years’ experience in underwriting within the insurance industry for the position of Assistant Manager. Previous exposure to an International Medical in Insurance industry is an added advantage.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with outstanding presentation and communication abilities. Proficiency in English and Sinhala is essential, while proficiency in Tamil would be an added advantage.

• The ability to foster positive relationships with clients and insurance companies alike.

• Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with MS Office, CRM, ERP Systems, and related tools.

• A track record of results-oriented performance, demonstrating the capacity to meet and exceed targets within deadlines.
